      Here is some essential vocabulary in Sicilian:

      Hello = Saluti
      Hi = Ciau
      How are you? = Comu si?
      I am fine, and you? = Jo sugnu beddu, e tu?
      I am from Sicily = Sugnu dâ Sicilia
      Goodmorning = Bongiornu
      Good evening = Bonasera
      Goodnight = Bonanotti
      I don’t understand = Nun capisciu
